Why the talk of Nathan Brown being at the end?
Dude's 30-31. Playing well. Best disposal eff. at the club.
Supported by Battle, Wilkie, Clav, perhaps Logan... why is he being talked about like he's 35?

Because he is a lumbering big fella.
He did himself a big favor in getting so fit last preseason. He should definitely go again.

Ha, ha, ha.... you might need to get over my deliberately controversial topics and assertions.
The smart people took it for what it was... a talking point.
Unproductive belittling commentary is a bit disappointing.

Re: Why the talk of Nathan Brown being at the end?
I totally agree with the OP. The talk around Brown is that he's on death's door - and that rhetoric has been kicking around since the end of 2017!
I think he's been a tremendous servant for our club. He got himself into terrific condition this past pre-season and played an extremely important role, often taking the 2nd best forward. He may not have the athletic qualities to turn defence into attack, but when an aerial contest was there to be had, he was rarely beaten.
Definitely another year for mine, not least with concerns about Clavarino's development (finished the year well in his final VFL game - 19 disposals, nine marks) and Carlisle's all-over-the-shop progress.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

I think he’s got at least another year in him. Had a very good season and is seldom beaten

I think everyone knows that he only has one position which is as a "stopper" FB. But he is good in that role.
All in all I thought this year he was very good, and it was probably his best year at the Saints.
I also like that he seems to accept it if he is left our of the team when their is not a good match-up for him (Though in the GWS game that was a poor decision).
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
