Brandon Matera- how many goals will he kick?
If DMack was playing, I think Henry Playfair would match him up on Matera,
which will help Matera get 5 goals.
How many will he get, and who gets him?
Savage- not a lock-down player, seems to chase kicks (or is he told to do that because he can kick deep?)
Paton- better than DMack, huge difference (can kick both feet- but not at the same time )
I reckon he gets 5 and helps the Dockers get over the line,
as will Eleni Glouftsis, who will gift 4-5 goals to the Dockers.
which will help Matera get 5 goals.

More to the point, who gets Walters who pockets a casual 3 Brownlow votes every time we play them including kicking bags of goals
We are going in with only Carlisle so we have choices in regards support defenders - so someone needs to do the jobs on the Fremantle small forwards
The most experienced of our support defenders is Savage but to me at least he is a one way player lacking close checking disciplines when and as required
You would expect him to assume responsibility but that is another story
Perhaps Newnes - as an opportunity but to me Newnes lacks the necessary overhead skills including spoiling (which again leads to White who will end 4 seasons since his debut on 11 games so hardly compelling credentials (for some reason)

It has to start in the midfield keeping possession and slowing the game down. We have to keep the ball in our forward half make the most of our I50 opportunities.
I expect Paton, Battle, Carlisle, Newnes and Wilkie will defend and Coffield, Clark, and Savage will occupy space, rebound and sweep.

Newnes did well on Johannisen. Could peg Walters back. Eleni will not be impressed by Walters arm throwing, gesticulating and pouting. She has a Mediterranean background and its how they order Ouzo on a quiet night, so no big deal, just Michael - get up and play. Matera is no match winner.

Walters will play 70% mid, 30% up Forward. He tore us apart last game on Dunstan. Not sure we have anyone with the speed to go with him.
Mundy and Fyfe will rotate forward. Steele will the the midfield match up, Wilkie the backline match up. Carlisle will play deep, a role he is to ideally suited.

Newnes has not got the agility to go with Sonny.
Their biggest threat is Brad Hill on the wing. Will we go head to head with Billings or DH or will Newnes get him?

I don’t know who played on Walters and Matera but they killed us last time.
Jack Steven got as many goals as those two combined. Without any soft frees.
