Hanners a bust maybe.. Steven maybe gone.. Maybe there is another inside mid coming in who we don't know about.. But as depth you won't get much better.

Re: According to fox Dunstan wants a two year contract
Wilkie came in as a mature aged guy, then 4-5 games in, gets extended for 2 years?
If Dunstan doesn"t get at least 2 yrs, it would be a money issue only

Of course it's the issue!
The Hannabery debacle would have artificially inflated every other player's expectations.
Imagine Dunstan being offered $350k per annum or $17k per game vs Hannabery's $200k per game.

Re: According to fox Dunstan wants a two year contract
there have been some poor contracts handed out that may affect the clubs list building the next two years.
Why give DMac 3 more years after this one? Why not just extend by 1 or at most 2 years? Was he really that well established as a senior player (clearly not!)
Then there is Young who looks to be a bust of a mature age recruit but will stay on our list next year. Then Hannebury. Does he have any performance clauses in that 4 years? Why not 3 years? Sydney would have still let him go if we had offered 3.
I do agree that Dunstan should get 2 years and it sux if the club is reluctant due to f$%ing up other contracts!

Re: According to fox Dunstan wants a two year contract
4 years maybe a 5th for Hannebery
3 years for a fringe forward from Melbourne
I’m surprised Dunstan isn’t insisting on min 3 years, he’s already twice the player Kent will ever be.

I think Dunstan should be traded if possible.
I wouldn't offer him even 1 year unless I had no other option.

Defiantly keep him - if you watch the last couple of matches he is at the coal face getting the ball out.

He’s starting to play really good football and showing he’s more than a one-paced inside midfielder.
Hope he stays a Saint, otherwise I feel it may come back to bite us.

Are we stuck with McKenzie for 3 more years???
I guess he’s a depth player if you have a dozen injuries like this year and was probably cheap, but he’s just another dud earlyish pick that should be well away from our best 22 now Cho has choofed off.

He's been good, relative to his own previous form and relative to what else we've got.Crossy66 wrote: ↑Wed 31 Jul 2019 11:16pmCant agree. Has been good this year and needs to be locked in.BarryGrogan wrote: ↑Wed 31 Jul 2019 10:47pm I think Dunstan should be traded if possible.

But relative to the rest of the comp, he's a C-Grader isn't he?
We definitely should be looking to replace him with something better if we plan to move up the ladder.
