Problem was they were too young when we were chasing old style footballers in Paddy and Hugh. I don't reckon we'd be having many of the current conversations, if we had them both in Paddy's draft year. Who knows, Richo might even have a flag???

I think the entire point is that we'd get for him for unders isn't it. We don't have a home ground/city lure, don't play in big games, and don't have a salary cap exemption - so having a twin on the list potentially gives us some advantage over other clubs.

At the very least, we could actually be in the box seat to land a really good player.

How about this - the AFL cut a deal with Gold Coast that they will be given a Priority Pick at the top end of the draft (Pick 2) if they trade BKing to us for only one 1st Rounder - everyone us a winner!!

Pretty certain if something like this doesn't happen then we will be paying a lot more

Only have to look at the compensation that Geelong got for Motlop (Pick 18 - total joke) so that they could secure Ablett to show that the AFL can manipulate certain outcomes to benefit all parties

Think the reality is that the draft is overrated

It gives you a chance at getting a good player.

We’ve had a look at King and determined he will be a star... why not give up a chance at potentially getting a good player to actually get a good player

OK to facilitate this it would take at least our first round pick, and potentially a player also dependant on our finish this year.
