Bakes is and always was awesome - i doubt we'll see a character like him any time soon take to the field
Most definitely not the product of our elite private school system

he's as funny these days on social media as he was when out on the park

I’ll admit, I’m biased.

I liked him because he was a tough-nut and our player, but if he’d played for anyone else, I would have hated him for all sniping and thuggery he’d pull.

Yes, with both hands and both feet. And - he could take an overhead contested mark. He had good pace. He was equal first in the B&F (with Luke Ball) in 2005 - in one of our best teams ever.
