White Rice Cooked
It appears as if St Kilda will cut down on the carbs.
Sadly for White, form is not translating into selection which is disappointing and ominous.
Rice is off the boil, resting as an emergency. A flicker of hope offered.
With 4 more opportunities it is looking like two spots to fill come draft / trade time.

Re: White Rice Cooked
Ratten is hardly going to make massive changes two weeks in, still 4 games left after this weekend. I’m sure he’ll put them in for a couple of games, hopefully Dean is getting in his ear

Massive win for us last week, as if a coach will walk amongst the winning team and tell a few that they will be dropped for a few guys who did well in a losing VFL team.

Agree but just think people are saying it in the sense that it is a reoccurring theme. People shouldn’t be too fussed as when you see some of the players we’ve given extensions to over the last few years or so these lads should get extended.

Re: White Rice Cooked
I don't think playing in a losing team should necessarily discount a player, playing well in a losing team shows some character and ticker.
Just as being in a winning team shouldn't guarantee your spot if you've not performed.
Ideally real improvement comes when those two cross over.

Maybe they are naughty boys.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

If they could not get selected in the team ahead of Long then their papers have already been stamped.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Thu 25 Jul 2019 7:45pm It appears as if St Kilda will cut down on the carbs.

If St Kilda has white rice then the AFL may get ideas to send the club to Shanghai permanently.

Are you suggesting the club is in the grip of left wing socialist political correctness ?

Re: White Rice Cooked
I'm starting to think White has already told the club he plans on moving on next year, or vice versa, so they're not bothering to play him. The fact he wasnt even named an emergency after a 30 possession game doesnt bode well. If he has another good game in the VFL this week and dosent get picked next week, then its curtains for him at the Saints.
Really sad as I believe he could be an integral part of our next push to finals and its an indictment on the club that this was allowed to happen, when players like Newnes, Weller etc kept getting game time while not performing. If it all turns out to be true, it will be really frustrating watching him get opportunities to play for someone else.

Not required players IMO.
From afar, I reckon there might be some attitude issues and extracurricular activities which aren't in line with being a pro AFL footy player.

It was West Coast who have the bare trophy cabinet because of their player's activities & attitudes...oops, sorry, I've got that wrong as well.
If it's not reached the courts or the papers and they still make each training & rehab session & get themselves on the field & play football, play them for god's sake.
If they are no good at footy, get rid of them. If they have talent, develop that. Seriously, with a coaching staff & support staff numbering in the dozens, surely someone can get these issues in line if their are issues.

Lol don’t worry mate it’s bs anyway, how many times have we heard certain players are doing certain things. It’s funny how people who actually know what’s going on just sit back and laugh at certain things that are postedGhost Like wrote: ↑Fri 26 Jul 2019 3:06pmYep, held Collingwood back in 1990 & 2010, oh wait, no it didn't.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Fri 26 Jul 2019 1:57pm Not required players IMO.

Re: White Rice Cooked
10000% agree. If White walks to the Dawks (or anywhere really) and becomes the player many of us think he can be then quite frankly, that will be the ultimate legacy of the lost Richardson years. And what a disgrace it will be.stkfc1 wrote: ↑Fri 26 Jul 2019 1:43pm I'm starting to think White has already told the club he plans on moving on next year, or vice versa, so they're not bothering to play him. How this bloke was continually behind the utterly average McKenzie will forever confound me. Or Newnes. Or Weller.
Makes me sick

Re: White Rice Cooked
I couldn't agree more.
Like many supporters I can't understand what is going on with White.
He has shown much more than the likes of Weller, Newnes, McKenzie and others.
Even in the only match he played, when he was one leg and played out of position he still showed more than many of players yet he hasn't even been named as an
emergency since.

Re: White Rice Cooked
Weller hasn't played at the saints this year ffs. He is on the tigers list or haven't you noticed.
But, in general I agree with you. White should be given a chance to show his wares.

Re: White Rice Cooked
Weller is emblematic of Richardson's absolute and utter blindness to what everyone else could see and knew was hurting both him and us. And yet he persisted with his blind faith loyalty ... to no one's benefit.
