Re: Malthouse
Would love to say more than that to him!
"It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress."

Re: Malthouse
Malthouse is grossly over-rated - as proved by his post-Ratten performance at Caaaaaaarlton which delightfully has set that scum back a decade!
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Re: Malthouse
What did Malthouse do wrong at Carlton? They’ve had two Godfather coaches that have failed, and a young and modern coach fail too. I’m just curious because Malthouse was very successful. Granted, not the most lovable guy and needs a course Billy Brownless laughing pills, but what did he actually do wrong?Enrico_Misso wrote: ↑Mon 22 Jul 2019 10:48pm Malthouse is grossly over-rated - as proved by his post-Ratten performance at Caaaaaaarlton which delightfully has set that scum back a decade!

Re: Malthouse
Carlton got the wooden spoon in 2005 and 2006 under Pagan and became coach towards the end of the 2007 season when Pagan was sacked and they finished 15th (out of 16).shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Tue 23 Jul 2019 12:29amWhat did Malthouse do wrong at Carlton? So from a rock bottom start Ratts took them to
11th in 2008
7th in 2009
8th in 2010
5th in 2011
10th in 2012 hampered by injuries.
This was when Caaarlton blinked.
With their hot list chock full of high draft picks but with Juddy starting to slow down they needed results fast.
Hence they grabbed the experienced guru Shytehouse to deliver them premiership glory.
Mick took this hot list to
9th in 2013 which became 8th (Druggies supplements penalty)
13th in 2014
18th in 2015 when he got the sack, replaced by Smiley.
So basically Mick took the base that Ratts had built up and turned it into a wooden spoon.

Re: Malthouse
Just been thinking...
I know Makthouse's plan...
Give glowing recommendation to the Saints panel for Scott Watters as coach (tick)
Give glowing recommendation to the Saints for AR to be coach ( tick)
Have the Saints plummet down the ladder to mediocrity at best
Recommend himself as the solution (tick)
A plan 8 years in the making... let's hope it fails miserably...

Steaming bag of s*** this guy is.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
