Re: Extended interchange bench
And I wonder if Ratts goes with three tall forwards and brings in Joyce or Rowe.
Re: Extended interchange bench
Really hope he considers the 3rd tall forward. Rowe isn’t the answer but will help fill the void. This has crucified us all year. Paddy out and no one else considered. Marshall floating forward is a dangerous proposition. Leaves Bruce to kick goals.
Same time drop a few, something Richardson didn’t do enough. Acres, Sinclair and to a degree McKenzie are the types that overate our list. Too inconsistent the first two ;pick and choose when they bring the effort required.

Re: Extended interchange bench
Nope, the best hbf since Guy McKenna didn’t get a gig on a 10 man extended bench... seems like him and young Jack Mayo the only boys not named.
They probably know he’s off to Hawthorn to replace Grant Birchall and play 300 games.

Are you referring to the order? I think there’s a pattern but I can’t quite work it out.saynta wrote:Interesting. Maybe Parker's in and McKenzie is out,

Re: Extended interchange bench
Yeah, usually listed in either alphabetical order or in the order likely to play.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Fri 19 Jul 2019 12:12pmAre you referring to the order? I think there’s a pattern but I can’t quite work it out.saynta wrote:Interesting. Maybe Parker's in and McKenzie is out,

Re: Extended interchange bench
Alabakis is not playing atm
Armo has had a line put through him, Clavarino is a way off, Young has not done enough.
Marsh and White are the only two not on the team sheet atm that could conceivably get a game atm

I think there’s a pattern with the numbers, but I’m no Maths expert.saynta wrote:Yeah, usually listed in either alphabetical order or in the order likely to play.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Fri 19 Jul 2019 12:12pmAre you referring to the order? Re: Extended interchange bench
Oh Ratts and co. please pump games into White and Rice before the year is out. These two fellas are true footballers just hope they both get a shot. Would have either or playing ahead of dmac this year but that may just be me.

Re: Extended interchange bench
I think you are right there. Rice is a natural footballer. Haven]t seen enough of White but he certainly has one strong attribute.
He knows how to get the ball. His kicking ain't bad either.

Re: Extended interchange bench
You know what will happen don’t you? They’ll get a game or two and be delisted at years end. I’m a big Rice fan (possibly due to having a hard on for Dean...just that real tough as old boots footballer) and see a bit of Dean in him. In fairness he didn’t play badly when he played about 10 games last year then nothing this year, thought also his 2017 form in the VFL should have warranted him getting a game or two that year.

Re: Extended interchange bench
I couldn't agree more. I especially want to see White get a proper go and not just a game here and there.
DMac and Newnes have been given been given many chances and continually fall short. White has shown in his limited time that he does have excellent skills and should make it. I can't help but think there has to be something other than his football ability why he is continually overlooked even in the face of our extensive list of players unavailable.

Re: Extended interchange bench
I personally think it's too hard to judge players at Sandy.
They clearly play Cho's same style, and the same Cho roles at Sandy. And as is the case in the 1s, it's virtually impossible to shine under those conditions.
I mean the average punter sees Newnes barely touch the ball, yet he's picked 100 times in a row. So whatever role he was given, he was obviously doing it.
I reckon the same applies to these blokes at Sandy that appear underwhelming.

Re: Extended interchange bench
There's been a bit of a muckup. Finnis & co were discussing with Richo the terms to get him to leave early, and Richo ordered lunch during the discussions and said "no white rice", and Finnis wrote that down.
Hence, unlikely to see them this year unless they negotiate an amendment to the agreement.
