Re: Cogs set to join Saints
so surprised he played today.....injured last week
with kelly out may have made the wrong call on a 50/50
looked proppy in today's warm up
first time he planted foot to change direction .......over he went
hope for the player that it is not the big mac knee.

Serious knee injury. Nigs in big trouble it seems.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

If he has done his knee then Nigs would be right for our 2020 finals campaign.

Re: Cogs set to join Saints
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love this time of year. Apparently 50 players are changing clubs and half of them are coming to the Saints. Might have to buy a footy record next year, I won't recognise anyone

Full story on afl.com
"GREATER Western Sydney is holding out hope star midfielder Stephen Coniglio has avoided a season-ending knee injury, but the Giants remain unclear on the severity of the setback.
Coach Leon Cameron has also defended the club's decision to play the match-winner, despite him entering the game with significant strapping around the knee after a minor injury last week against Brisbane.
Coniglio was helped from the field four minutes into the Giants' loss to Richmond on Sunday, after twisting his left knee in an innocuous incident.

"Stephen Coniglio, footballer. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Stephen Coniglio will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster." Look how we went with Dan and Freezer — with apologies to The Six Million Dollar Man.

We will back our medical staff to fix him.
I mean, it's not like we are in a hurry.

Re: Cogs set to join Saints
The silver lining by getting the likes of Hannerbury, Kent and Coniglio is we get games into our kids (eventually). Well the kids who weren't drafted injured.
