From his perspective might be wise to bow out before the Massacre at Kardinia Park.

Re: The Fat Lady
Then why not just come to an agreement and move on …… now!!!!!
For the sake of the club so we can at least get planning for next year
Seems to have worked for Carlton and North

Re: The Fat Lady
The lack of response from the club admin is unacceptable to me and should be to most of you also.
This club in particular lives and breathes off its members. They are treating everyone with contempt.
Richardson had a crack and we gave him a long time to work at it. It did not work. It happens.
We need to move on sooner rather than later.

Re: The Fat Lady
I’d like to know if anyone actually thought we’d play finals?
We won 4 games last year, what exactly was going to see us win another 8/9 games this year?

Re: The Fat Lady
The plan was always to train strongly.
That's surely gonna guarantee a Top 4 spot for us.
I cannot understand how it unravelled.

Re: The Fat Lady
I thought 9 wins. I still think 9 wins.
We are a real chance against Melbourne at Marvel, Freo at Marvel, and the Blues at the G.
I think we'll lose down at Geelong, In Adelaide, and in Sydney all by over 100 points though.
I think the President needs to get down into the rooms before this game Saturday night and set down some clear expectations before this one. Or it will get ugly. Real 1985 ugly.
I remember in 1986 we hadn't won a game in the first half of the season. Before a match at Moorabbin in Round 12 against Melbourne The President addressed the players with Graham Gellie (the coach) looking on. He made expectations crystal clear. According to local lore, his instructions were 'You will win today". Thus endeth
the conversation.
Now I'm not suggesting that should be the message on Saturday night, but I think a statement needs to be made on field at Kardinia Park on Saturday.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

Whether AR goes in 2 weeks or after Rd 23,
the janitor will say 'I told youse'
We know it's imminent.
We KNOW.
Lethers said beat teams above us or else.
We know we can't, and we'll struggle against Carlscum with their new coach.

Re: The Fat Lady
Interesting aside
The original saying is "it's not over till the fat lady sinks "
This was a term used in American 8 ball, as the game concludes when the 8 ball sinks ( goes in the pocket)
That's why they say fat ladies at bingo for number 8
Anyway... time for AR to step down for the good of the club ... Sink seems more appropriate
While I'm at it......it's like the bastardization of the "Fremantle doctor"
It is the Fremantle "docker" because when we had sailing ships they had to wait for that breeze to come into port up river
