For the obvious reason that players could play badly in some games to get the odds up and then play well in games that they have bet on.

The 12 week suspended sentence is to last his whole career.
That's a pretty decent incentive not to reoffend.
I'm happy with the outcome here. it's a real issue and we are just lucky this wasn't one of our boys.

What a stupid thing to do. Big mistake by a very promising and different player who I actually enjoy watching play when it isn't against us.

whats with 12 weeks suspended sentence then. What a load of rubbish. Should of got 22 weeks. All bets were about things he could control out there playing. Would of effected the way he played.
