Re: Team v Suns
OMFG! It looks like the adults have finally taken over Match Committee.
Finally. My only sadness is that Ross has somehow escaped sanction for being an overtly pox, one-way midfielder with poor footskills.

Re: Team v Suns
Armo back is a pretty good decision. He will realise this is his last shot and give it his all I just hope the body is able.
White back in about F@#king time
Nick hind up forward was a surprise as he is a half back. Yes he can play forward but from most reports he is better at the other end of the ground
I think Newnes must have some compromising photos of Richo as his selection still baffles me.
out of the players dropped (excl injury) I can not see a mistake there

Happy with the ins; good to give those who have been slogging their guts out for Sandy a proper crack.

Re: Team v Suns
Well, Steele going out injured isn't good. But some changes had to be made. Long and Young I am not surprised with. Young has barely touched the ball since the Collingwood game.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Team v Suns
I guess Armo had to come in with Steele out, but it means we have an onballer who is slower and will run out of puff after 3 quarters, but what else can we do- at least Armo and Clark can tag team off the bench. Hind deserves a shot just to get some genuine leg speed and line-breaking in that team, as it's a weakness. The forward line better have a red hot crack this week, just been slack and not getting hands on the ball enough.

Re: Team v Suns
The loss of Steele hurts. The only thing I'll say about the Coffield omission was that it was an easy call. With Steele out I hope the impetus has been put on the more senior players, Newnes, Sinclair, Kent & Bruce to lead so the under 20 game players are not scapegoats. Good luck to Hind, Clark, Marsh & White, they are the players we rely on the make our list better.

Re: Team v Suns
"selection integrity", did we get some this week?
seriously though, BLOODY INJURIES.
What can one do but just get on with it.
Have some fun Armo and crack in.

So do I Wally, so do I. Sometimes one's enough is considerably different to another's, taking everything into account.

Re: Team v Suns
Looking forward to seeing Hind in action and welcome back White - good player, old fashioned and tough with a huge boot.
Shame about Steele, but in a couple of weeks we should have him, Hannas, Carlisle in the side with King pushing for selection.

Thats just about a totally different team from 2 or 3 years ago. Its about time Richo starts producing.

Re: Team v Suns
Don't think we'll see Hannebury, Carlisle or King in the seniors this year.
Limited pre-seasons and lack of match conditioning - look at what happened to Gears.
No, I think they'll join Dylan, Paddy, Logan Austin and Stuv until the pre-season.
Development year. It is a shame about Steele though - hopefully he can come back in soon.

Re: Team v Suns
Still too short on the forward line.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Not if these injuries keep occurring at their current rate, we'll run out of players...catch 22!samuraisaint wrote: ↑Thu 13 Jun 2019 11:24pm
