Did Lethlean Slip up
Heard pre game on Sen Andy Maher asked Lethlean about Clark and what he needs to do to get into the side.
His reply included the comment " we believe he will be a 200 game player in this league"
NOT
"We believe he will be a 200 game player for our club"
Perhaps it was just a slip up and means nothing, or perhaps it doesn't ........
Will be really pissed if he leaves because wasn't given chance. considering he its a pick 7.

Re: Did Lethlean Slip up
I can see him getting a lot of game time if the season ends soonish. Same as Coffield and King.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Pretty innocuous comment...older saint wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jun 2019 7:49pm Heard pre game on Sen Andy Maher asked Lethlean about Clark and what he needs to do to get into the side.

The implication that we think he will be a good player and are planning on trading him out or he wants out and we can’t persuade him otherwise seems a bit far fetched.

Re: Did Lethlean Slip up
If he doesn't play against the Suns there needs to be a press conference to explain why. Is he being taught some sort of disciplinary lessons while the A-Team forwards blaze merrily in the approximate direction of the far point posts. Perhaps the selectors don't want him to suffer the frustration of 12 goal defeats - might stunt development. Hasn't hurt Sincers, Kenty, and Newnesy-pie.

I genuinely love your posting style - there's none too many who describe things with the sort of humour that you do.Yorkeys wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jun 2019 9:14pm If he doesn't play against the Suns there needs to be a press conference to explain why. Re: Did Lethlean Slip up
Maybe he was trying to emphasise that he would play 200 games at the AFL level for St Kilda rather than for St Kilda's VFL affiliate.older saint wrote: ↑Sun 02 Jun 2019 7:49pm Heard pre game on Sen Andy Maher asked Lethlean about Clark and what he needs to do to get into the side.

All that chasing players and running back for the centre bounce must be tiring

I thought Simon was more the type to slip it in, as opposed to slip up
