Wouldn’t that be a hoot - losing our asst coach after 11 games; left with our d*ck in our hands yet again. Would be kinda funny and sad all at once really.

Re: Brilliant for us that Bolts is gone....
Would be ironic if they offer Ratts the job and he turns them down
Perhaps 2-3 more thrashings and Richo walks out the door permanently
Would love to read this headline: "Ratts officially takes over the Saints"

What has that got to do with anything about Bolton or Richardson?
Who cares.

The beginning of the end of Richardson's employment, Edward! It's a magic day.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 2:52pm What has that got to do with anything about Bolton or Richardson?

As for a 'worse' list, I said 'worsE', not worsT.... Please don't now try and debate me that Carlton have a worse list than ours. You will lose.

I doubt any type of debate will go on. It never does.ss1986 wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 2:57pmThe beginning of the end of Richardson's employment, Edward! It's a magic day.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 2:52pm What has that got to do with anything about Bolton or Richardson?

If we do nothing, Ratten to North (unless Rhyce Shaw hangs on), Scott to Carlton.
But movement at North and Carlton might force the board's hand. Then we might see Ratten use a bit of bribery to insist on an offer of the top job with us where we'd rather he just mind the shop till the end of the season.

Re: Brilliant for us that Bolts is gone....
Don't think focus will be on us this week. The media will be busy speculating about them for a couple of days at least
After such a poor showing in Shanghai and the disaster with player sickness, they would have copped a blowtorch
I think that Finnis, Lethlean and Richo should be sending 'Thank You' cards to the Carlton Football Club

Won't be this week - but going forward North and Carlton will be getting a free pass till the end of the year.
Richo now has nowhere/no one to hide behind.

Re: Brilliant for us that Bolts is gone....
When is Richo expected to negotiate a new contract with the club?
St Kilda would have to implode spectacularly for the rest of the year for Richo to be given a tap on the shoulder.
Sandringham pretty much played in China yesterday and half of them spent their time in China in the toilet. We’re having a reasonable season, it’s been really hard to judge where the Saints are at in 2019.

Can anyone tell me what Ratten has achieved that makes him the Messiah?freely wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 3:05pm If we do nothing, Ratten to North (unless Rhyce Shaw hangs on), Scott to Carlton.

Oh - whiskers, don't get me started there. I would say he's done absolutely NOTHING! I can't think of anything worse than having Ratten as our coach - just speculating what I think will probably happen!whiskers3614 wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 3:18pmCan anyone tell me what Ratten has achieved that makes him the Messiah?freely wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 3:05pm If we do nothing, Ratten to North (unless Rhyce Shaw hangs on), Scott to Carlton.

Better than 50% winning record as a head coach, spent years under Clarko at the most successful club in recent history.whiskers3614 wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 3:18pmCan anyone tell me what Ratten has achieved that makes him the Messiah?freely wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 3:05pm If we do nothing, Ratten to North (unless Rhyce Shaw hangs on), Scott to Carlton.

It’s a good start.

Re: Brilliant for us that Bolts is gone....
When Ratten was sacked from Carlton and Malthouse took over the neutral observers compared their acheivements with the same or simialr lists. In hindsight many neutral observers as well as Carlton fans, acknowledged that Ratten didn't deserve the sack...just because Malthouse was out of a job and available to take over
Since then he's gained knowledge and ip from the best coach in AFL of the last 15 years. It's his experience in the system combined with the fact that he has already competently held the position of senior coach in the past.
If he wants the top job and if he is hungry, there is a job somewhere for him.

Actually played in sporting clubs for 25 years of my life. Coached, captained, vice captained for a combined 8 years of that time. What is your point?HighettMan wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 3:15pmI've asked you this before, have you actually ever been involved in any team sport or had anything to do with a sporting club?
