Votes v Blues
5. Gresham . Class.
4. Dunstan . Excellent inside.
3. Steele .
2. Membrey . Best forward target.
1. Savage.
Good contributions from Brown and Battle on their key forwards, Parker and Sinclair at times.

Re: Votes v Blues
Whole half back line; Membrey, Marshall, Steele, Gresham, Ross, Billings, Dunstan and importantly Carlton Fumbles.

Gresham - great first half
Marshall - nice to have a dependable ruck
Dunstan - very quiet second half but in many contests
Acres - poor first half, good second

Re: Votes v Blues
Interesting comment. I'm not sure people wanted Joyce IN but Brown did get dropped & Silvagni (middle), Dench, Frawley, & any other fullback you can think of would not of stopped the slaughter coming Joyce's way against the Giants. Pressure from the mids and forwards does help.

Joyce was putrid in the VFL today, stamp the papers, Brown was massive.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Sun 26 May 2019 7:48pmInteresting comment. Re: Votes v Blues
Thought the work of Dunny, Steele and Marshall helped set us up early. Gresh was brilliant all day and gave us the spark when Carlton had the early lead. Loved the effort from our forward line and their tackling was very good.
Kent was busy, Ben Long and Matt Parker provide a certain hardness that is a positive for the team. Both will improve with more games. I though Battle and Marshall played their roles very well as did Nathan Brown. The team all need heaps of practice to sharpen their skills, but overall good team effort.
