Does anyone subscribe to the Chris Scott and Geelong thinking that the mid season draft may be used for what it wasn't intended - namely stockpiling picks that would normally go early in the national draft near the end of the year?
It's not like we can pick up a Max King here.
We would be looking at a mature ager or potentially someone like Sinclair or Paton who was overlooked in their first draft year and may have shown a bit in the first couple of months of this season.

it would indicate where you are as a club
a bit desperate like us and yes you would go for a ready made
a more successful club would be looking firmly at 2020 and getting a freebie given their projected draft position at the end of the year

The club aren't alone in not thinking much of Mr Longer.
It's to cover for Pierce not Longer, no relevance what your thoughts are on any player really.
