FYI, In his draft year, 2014, we took P. McCartin, H. Goddard, D. McKenzie and J. Lonie before Ed was taken at #54 (where are you?). So it just shows what a lottery the draft is and how fate deals the ultimate hand - although bit hard to argue we should/would have taken Ed earlier, perhaps instead of Jack L but he is coming good now. Ed took a couple of years to develop and overcame a knee injury before become the player he is. Reflecting on that perhaps we can be more patient with Messers Coffield and Clark. And does this news also mean we have a strategic recruitment plan, with mids now the priority.

Seriously, Richo getting brought up in nearly every thread is just getting plain old ridiculous. It's not even remotely balanced. How some supporters are so obsessed with the head coach is very odd and disturbing like a Twilight Zone series.

Disagree Scollop I dont think we can blame Richo for Acres not improving. If you have ever spoken to Blake to put it politley he is not the sharpest tack in the box. I simply dont think he has the personal drive or acumen to go to the next level. Lets move him on whilst he still has some currency and bringing in Langdon would be a huge improvement. He may improve at Freo but Langdon is a win regardless.

Jack clearly had a bad year in 2018 and fell away in form but until then and again this year his improvement was gradual and consistent. Taking into consideration his development years were under the tutelage of Riewoldt, Montagna, Dal Santo, Goddard et al and by 2015 he was considered a leader by necessity, I struggle to see much validity in your comparison.
