Circa R18 - Best team?

Post: # 1789725Post Yorkeys »

A few of assumptions: Paddy and Jack not available long long term. A number of serious injuries heal. Coaches will utilise McKenzie's aerobic capacity.

B: Geary, Austin, Carslisle
HB: Wilkie Clavarino Webster
C: Billings Acres Patton
HF: Ross Battle Parker
FF: Membrey King Lonie

Foll: Marshall McKenzie Steele
Int. Bruce Marsh Gresham Clark
Emg. Dunstan White

I'm very interested in what side you think we would field if all repairable injuries were repaired. If you care to comment on such a hypothetical. It looks a final 8 side to me, hypothetically of course.

I'm not sure Austin and Clavarino would have played enough games to even warrant selection as newbie players. King for the same reason however if he is as good as people say then, maybe.

Hannebery would be in given he is already an AFL player. Carlisle you already have in (for the same reason) as Hanners. Savage would still be in. Not sold on Marsh yet.

C: Billings Hannebery Gresham
HF: Parker Bruce Membrey
F: Lonie King Kent
R: Marshall Steele Ross
I/C: Steven McKenzie Marsh Acres

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Couldn't fit him in. Very close.

Well for mine, he is in before Acres, Kent and 1 or 2 others!

Think I prefer Battle at CHF in preference to Josh Bruce, and Carslile at CHB looks better.

It would be good to have a viable 2nd ruck.
