On Kayo sports, you can watch all the replays from Rd 1 to 6 to see what Kent does as a small forward. Rd 5 against the Demons would be the best game to view to get an idea of what his role is all about. Kayo is only $25 a month (first 2 weeks free) so you could easily watch 6 games within 2 weeks if you don't want to sign up full time and pay $25 a month.
Thanks guys.
Silly me I thought in modern football that a key part of what a small forward was meant to do was to tackle and put pressure on, to have both an offensive and defensive side to your game and to play well most weeks.
However as Ted points out what it evidently is to just run around in space, fumble a lot and to kick some goals in a game when the opposition is just crap and to only play one good game in six as being consistently good does not matter.
PS: If one really wants to see what a small forward should play like then check out those same replays watching Lonie who reinvented himself last season and who stepped up to an entirely new level this season including the ability to tackle well.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

That's not a modern thing, Andrew McQualter and Robert Eddy were doing that a decade ago!!

IF you look around the room and can't identify who the sucker is, then it's probably you!

Spot on SRS, Lonie has been a revelation in his turnaround.
His front and centre crumbing is outstanding, his work rate up and down the ground and his tackling endeavor first rate.
The only knock would still be his finishing in front of goal but it has improved.
We will really miss the Jack Russell.
Parker & Long are low on possessions but high on pressure acts and tackles while Parker has great efficiency % when he gets it and is spectacular.
Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

From the Melbourne game we know that his best (so far) is worth a spot. His challenge now is to do that consistently. Many have shown a glimpse and failed. I'm sure we all hope that he succeeds.
Good luck to the Kent.
He's a good opportunist half forward with excellent field kicking skills, but don't expect him to be pack marking or dictating play- these types do better when the key forwards are having an impact, or a midfield can actually get the ball and kick to them rather than the opposition. We failed in both those areas against the Crows. Probably doing his job.
