Tripping in tackle?
I noticed this when watching the replay and given the discussion on tripping recently wondered where this sits.
Puopolo used his legs to take Newnes legs out from under him in tackling--
haven't seen it in others but will keep an eye out now-

Re: Tripping in tackle?
I agree 100% Bratty. There have a couple of instances this season of VERY sus-looking tackles. Well noted!saintbrat wrote: ↑Wed 17 Apr 2019 10:25am I noticed this when watching the replay and given the discussion on tripping recently wondered where this sits.

Re: Tripping in tackle?
That's your classic Judo throw and since he's using his leg to trap Newnes leg, to then pull him off balance then yes, technically he's tripping him. Doubt the league will do anything about it though.

Good pickup SB. Very dubious tackling technique.saintbrat wrote: ↑Wed 17 Apr 2019 10:25am I noticed this when watching the replay and given the discussion on tripping recently wondered where this sits.
