I really liked Hickey's competitive spirit, and I can't help still liking him.
Hope he does well
(except against us -- though I wouldn't mind him proving a point v Longer)

As I said for Mav I wish Tom all the best & IMO like Mav his earlier years were a lot better than his later ones .Weather it was the right call to move him on I'm unsure as our ruck stocks aren't great but I suppose all he can do now is play the role West Coast want's & if he does it right he might be a regular too.

That was reason they recruited him for as a back up for Nic but who knows when he will be till he's back & for how long as his recent run with injury has been great. I’d be worried if I were Nic Nat, has a fight on his hands to get back in the team, maybe he should learn to play on the wing!

Adam Simpson is happy to focus on what a bloke can do and NOT on what a bloke can't do.
Hickey may not be one of the best tap ruckmen in the game, but his clearance work, general posessions, contested marking, and set shot accuracy make him a valuable commodity as a player
Hickey was a shining light as a player and one of the top rated ruckmen in 2016 and Mr Alan Richardson decided after a couple of games into the home and away season in 2017 that his career was finished. Great coach
