Doulton eyes 2019

" We’ve got similar attributes like our speed, and I’m trying to get to that next level that he’s at and use my pace in games more"
Doulton Langlands on Jack Steven comparisons
Every AFL player dreams of making their debut.
For Doulton Langlands, it’s about turning that dream into a reality.
Pulling on the red, white and black guernsey is always at the forefront of the rookie midfielder’s mind, with the 19-year-old giving himself every opportunity for selection in 2019.
Langlands is one of two Saints drafted prior to 2018 yet to make his debut, with Oscar Clavarino the other recruit pressing to make his maiden senior

Re: Doulton eyes 2019
I was really impressed with this kid at Sandy at the few games I went to. Felt he could have played some games in the seniors ahead of a Weller or Newnes at varioud points.
Got zip, decent skills and reasonable decision making. Hope he gets a go

Totally agree skeptic, he has all the attributes we are crying out for. He's part of that 2017 draft group I think we'll be looking back on in 5 years time and be very pleased. Clark, Coffield, Paton, Clavarino & Langlands are our future, surrounded by Billings, Acres, Battle, Gresham, we have a very exciting young core.

Re: Doulton eyes 2019
Give the kid some time to develop. A couple of games in 2019 will help his journey to FT senior footy. Kid can play. Definitely.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Not everyone is Chris Judd in year one.
Joey took a few years to develop.
Let’s hope he can break into the team for a couple of games late in the season.
I don’t think it’s his way or the highway just yet

I had a chat to Doulton today.

KFT “Good Luck Doulton “
I think he’ll go a long way.

He's still got number 45 so I don't think he'll be playing anytime soon
