Membership Pack
My card and scarf had an ETA of 3 Dec,
but hasn't arrived yet.
Club says they've received reports of delays (didn't clarify whether feedback from members, or Aust Post)
but they'll send a new one if it hasn't arrived by this Friday.
Just hoping Aust Post didn't leave it at front door and some cheeky person stole it.
No card left in letter box saying 'pickup from PO as nobody home'

Re: Membership Pack
People should at least buy the 3 game pack if not that keen. Only $90 I believe and you can bill smooth your membership over several months. Plus you get some standard merch too.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

What's the justification for $90 for 3 games?

Re: Membership Pack
Went a long way to have one of the game day experiences last year. Booking it was a tedious process and required several follow up calls to get right. On the day the room lacked atmosphere, there wasn't a crowd but still there were more people than the low tables, chairs and stand up round tables available; got there fairly early but no food available told it had sold out, go outside for a snack. Had to beg for beer service although the servers were just standing around, seats were fair way from room and awkward to get at. Of course the footy dished up matched the not cheap experience completely. I thought, this club isn't as well run as a suburban shed, but I was cranky with the lack of on field effort and don't know if that was actually what passes for an great experience at the now Marvel Stadium. Doesn't dampen my love for the Club but I was unpleasantly surprised. As for the pack, how many scarves and caps are enough. I want a lock of Nick's hair and a player button with Daniel McKenzie's image - long hair version.

Re: Membership Pack
The $90 3 game membership includes rights to finals tickets and merchandise I believe. Guess its a bit higher to encourage fans to just buy a full membership also.

Re: Membership Pack
My annual gripe is here; The membership stickers would have to be the worst in the comp. I didn't think they could get worse than the past couple of years but lo and behold, the one's we have now if you don't know, you need to combine two stickers together to make it look like you're a member - you can see for yourself in below link.
Also, my sticker is already starting to peel off and I park undercover at home. The same rubbish quality get's pumped out every year.
I know it's a little gripe but bumper stickers are one of the easiest ways to promote membership for the club as I'll make sure to give a 'Saintly Shakka' to any saintmobiles that I see on the road!

$97. Get more than just GA. Free entry to home VFL games also.
Under $10 over 10 months. Hardly a bank breaker. Not even 33 cents a day over 10 months.

If you can/will go to 3 AFL games, slim chance you'd be going to many VFL games.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Thu 13 Dec 2018 3:37pm https://saintsmembership.com.au/mobile/ ... -admission

I think it's really odd. Aside from those that simply want to donate to the club - who'd pay 100 bucks for a 3 game membership when it'd cost you $75 without the membership?
Carlton's are $99.
Strange marketing I'd have thought.

Re: Membership Pack
Better to give $97 to the Saints than most of $75 to the AFL.
Some people might only be able to make 3 games a year due to work or family or distance or health so its a decent option for those that want to be a member and help the club. Plus you get a few little sweeteners on top of it. Full memberships can't always be suited to everyone.

Re: Membership Pack
Mine was due on the 6th, but arrived on Monday. Was pretty happy with that, and at least now you can follow the progress better. The club has been very good in the consultation process in the last couple of years, but AP can be very ordinary (try sending something to or from Brisbane!!!)WellardSaint wrote: ↑Wed 12 Dec 2018 3:41pm My card and scarf had an ETA of 3 Dec,

Re: Membership Pack
Lol. Our 5 memberships arrived 2 weeks ago. 4 via courier and 1 in the mailbox on the same day. Courier said it happens all the time. I like the new hats. Traded my scarf with my daughter who got a junior hat and a senior hat.
On a side note, we have 45 scarves collected over the last 9 years. The wife is currently turning them into blankets for our seats and knees. Great idea and they are very effective for us Qlders who freeze in the Melbourne winters when we visit for games.

Re: Membership Pack
The quality of the St Kilda Members Pack has been sub-standard for many years, and a mate whose partner is a member of another AFL team claims their members pack is far superior to the Saints.
I have written to the club a number of times about this but barely got a response. So today I have written again, requesting that the Manager of the Football Dept (Simon Lethlean) look into this, since he has been able to effect so many other positive changes at the club.
Would appreciate it if members on this forum also write to the club to request a drastic upgrade of the Members Pack:
membership@saints.com.au - att: Manager Football Department
Unless we get strong numbers behind this, nothing will change, so please write and tell them what you think of the junk they give their members (apart from scarf and cap)....to be honest, it is almost insulting and shows a complete lack of appreciation of the financial support provided by members.

Re: Membership Pack
The St Kilda FC sent me another print out allowing me to order a cap or a scarf, they then sent me an email saying, oops, we've mucked up, you've already got your cap.
Ignore this mail out.
