Good luck to these blokes, but the fact Goddard and Freeman might only get a go at the two bottom clubs probably says alot as to why we delisted them.
And then what of Minchington and Hickey?
I don't disagree with some of what you said, but we've let players go in the past and it's come back to bite us. And it is usually because we didn't develop the players properly. Tom Lynch and jamie Cripps anyone?

Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

Poor old hugh won't know what's hit him if he goes to a lowly club after developing under a 33% powerhouse in richo.

wow when did it come out that Ritcho took a razor blade to his Achilles?
I’d take Hugh in the lineup over Brown any day.

Just another example of a pattern of Richo playing ordinary players with no upside over young players with unknown potential (who especially should have been a priority with our season effectively being over after round 2)

If I had to choose between having Brown-Longer-Geary or Goddard-Freeman-Minchington on our list for next year,I know which way I’d go every time...
thank god you don't work for the club!! Goddard moves likes a glacier, cannot jump at all and has the turning circle of the Queen Mary, he was struggling at Sandy. Freeman went from a super quick outside mid to a muddling paced inside mid and couldn't kick further than 40 metres because of his dodgy hammies. Minchington does have great skills, unfortunately he doesn't find the pill often enough to utilise them
I saw goddard play at Sandy on tv once this year,. and once was enough. he looked like he couldn't be bother chasing the footy

Couldn't agree more Ted we obviously don't have a spot for them on our list so if they can resurrect their careers somewhere else then so be it. I personally wish them all the best even if it means we screwed up by moving them on

Lol

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Delisting Goddard and Freeman were two terrible mistakes.

I agree. Terrible for Carlton and gold coast who may pick them up. Great from our point of view

it is slightly weird that when a player is on our list we have to support them unconditionally without criticism or candour
but once they get dropped ...
