At a glance: Assessing each club's 2018 AFL trade period

The Saints are struggling to attract talent and had to offer deals no other club contemplated for Dan Hannebery and Kent. If the Saints were in denial about their list this time last year, the penny has surely dropped now.
At a glance: Off the pace.
Accurate diagnosis first, then the right cure can follow...unlike the other bs I'm reading on here.

Going to be a painful period...hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel
Only realistic hope is the new coaching brigade extracting more from the existing list...and that’s really grasping at straws

Richo has lost belief. You can tell that from his body language.

What a deep analysis and review. 2 sentences.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

What is slagging?
The review was piss poor and not detailed in any sense when it comes to the analytical spectrum. 2 sentences. Probably an Age article.

The real problem is that I don't think the penny has dropped!

Re: More like it
He/she is referencing the article in the original post. Why would they need to quote it and how is it at all gutless to slag it without quoting?
Some of the one-eyed posting against this ted2018 poster is absolutely ridiculous. All the poster does is try to stay positive and yet everyone goes absolutely apeshit at them.
The article in this thread is a s*** two-line gimmick without any real analysis based on the idea that Hannebery is already a bust before he has even pulled on a training guernsey and don't even worry about Kent. If you want to believe that bulls*** then power to you.
However, if you believe, as I do, that the club is clearly getting its s*** together (imo made clear by a plethora of off-season additions off the field and a clear shift in direction), then power to you as well! Why silence someone for positivity? The same negativity was coming from all angles prior to our last good run circa 2007.
Honestly, if you can't see that Hannebery is a good acquisition then I suggest you either take off your negative blinkers or go and support Hawthorn.
And as for your post dragit, read the actual thread before you slag off another poster.

2006 - 14 wins
2007 - 11 wins
2008 - 13 wins
Hayes, Riewoldt, Dal Santo, Ball, Goddard, Fisher, Montagna all regarded as young stars of the comp.
Are you sure you want to compare circa 2007 to 2018?

We don’t appear to be a place where players from other clubs want to come.
I would have thought that was fairly obvious.
