Coach in waiting 2020??

Been thinking about our coaching department and the Clubs strategy moving forward.

Is it possible the Saints have already lined up a replacement in 2020?

If they have then I doubt any of the assistants like Ratten would be the coach we are after, as it would be undermining AR and it's a bad look (though it's happened st clubs on the past)

Here are a few outcomes in 2019 after surrounding AR with a lot of support

1: we improve quite dramatically find out AR is capable and he stays on.
2: we basically increase marginally despite the help and we still don't know if we are on the right track
3: the club conclude he is not the man, we stagnate further and he gets the bullet mid season with a caretaker ( Ratten?) who then gets an audition for 2020

If I were a coach in waiting .. I wouldn't want to be there in 2019 under AR... but I would like the club to already have my assistants in the system for a year to get them ready for 2020

I know one who fits the bill nicely since the stars are aligned

The Cho is coaching in 2019 for one reason only.

So Matt Finnnis can save face.

They will be hoping like hell for a miracle and chasing Longmire, Clarkson or a Scott brother.

If not it will be from Caracella, Burns, Longmuir, Mitchell etc

Money, or lack of it, means we stick with our coach for one more year.

Who knows? Really? All just speculation. If Clarkson had his own handpicked assistants then , he MAY just get the job done.
