Well done Jackie Boy!!!!
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

I wonder if Perfectionist is still in his anti-Stuv tirade...”HE’S JUST THE WORST OF ALL TIME BECAUSE HE IS - WHY DON’T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND”
It’s very curious

good on him, but it doesn't sit well that a player not quite good enough to ever make AA is ahead of greats like hayes, lockett, baldock, and equal with harvs.

Different players in different era's & different team's so it's very difficult to compare & Jack would be the first to admit he is not as good as Lenny ,Banga,Plugga or Dock but ATM he is the best we have IMOdesertsaint wrote: ↑Thu 20 Sep 2018 9:26pm good on him, but it doesn't sit well that a player not quite good enough to ever make AA is ahead of greats like hayes, lockett, baldock, and equal with harvs.

I like Jack, a lot. He is the best we have, but therein lies our problem. It will be tough to make the finals, and pretty much impossible to make top 4, as long as Jack remains our best player.guitars4 wrote: ↑Thu 20 Sep 2018 10:52pmDifferent players in different era's & different team's so it's very difficult to compare & Jack would be the first to admit he is not as good as Lenny ,Banga,Plugga or Dock but ATM he is the best we have IMOdesertsaint wrote: ↑Thu 20 Sep 2018 9:26pm good on him, but it doesn't sit well that a player not quite good enough to ever make AA is ahead of greats like hayes, lockett, baldock, and equal with harvs.

Re: Congratulations Stuv!
That will change though once we trade in a couple of very good midfielders, he will drop back to being an impact player as he gets older. Excellent player on his day regardless of opposition.Superboot wrote: ↑Fri 21 Sep 2018 10:18amI like Jack, a lot. He is the best we have, but therein lies our problem. Re: Congratulations Stuv!
He stands out in games with his pace, tackling and tenacity, and he wins plenty of his own ball. He's outstanding in every respect - his one negative is his kicking efficiency, he is not the most skilled nor the worst kick, he's somewhere in the middle (he sometimes lacks a bit of composure and rushes). A 9/10 overall, and our best player.
