POLL... RICHO
RICHO...IN or OUT
I'm sure how this is going to pan out...will be interesting to see if the will of the members is totally opposed to the will of the club.

Re: POLL... RICHO
He's definitely not secure to coach in 2019.

Re: POLL... RICHO
He's lost me.
Sooner rather than later so we can get something sorted before the draft/trade period.

2 more games then gonski before trade/draft.
We've all seen and had enough.
The club can't take any more damage.

Re: POLL... RICHO
Last Sunday you said,
“Lethers isn't giving Richo the sack for 2019 so get used to him folks. He has pretty much said he will be surrounded with a new team of assistants.”
Now he’s definitely not secure.

Re: POLL... RICHO
Flawed poll. Neither question may happen. What about a 3rd where he carries on as coach in 2019 with some new assistants, and performance assessed towards end of season 2019?
It is also not the will of the members, merely SS.

We simply have no option.
Forget about Hanners, Gaff or Lycett coming if Richo is coach in 2019

Re: POLL... RICHO
?? I'm asking if members if they want it to happen or think it should ...and yes obviously only those on here, but will show a trend as small as it may be and if he carries on as coach select allow his contract to run it's course...or simply ignore the poll all together.

Top bloke but 5 years is enough.

Re: POLL... RICHO
You've got a very valid point saynta. It's disturbing imo that some believe the contract should run it's course. Have they forgotten that the contract runs until the end of 2020?
So no matter how badly we perform and how poor we play at times in matches, these people are willing to let Richo keep his job. The last couple of weeks for me have been worse than losing by 80 or 100 points because we were genuinely in the games with a big advantage in both and we just capitulated. I'm not going to support a football club that continues to allow that to happen.

Re: POLL... RICHO
The vote of all members would be something like 35k he goes, 5k don't know and 5k would vote for Gawn because he is a good player. What you can be sure of is that the club doesn't really care too much what the members think, and that if he coaches next year we will not make finals and the club will suffer direct and indirect costs of over $500k + huge reputational damage. The Board and CEO knows this and Director of Footy knows it. They just don't know what to do about it. Sponsors may force the Board's hand. The longer they put off the inevitable the longer the recovery and greater the damage. If 2019 is led by Al a google assistant as recommended by Maxy may help in the short term but someone needs to tell Al what questions to ask. I am giving my preferences to Lenny Hayes, but I think he is too smart to run.

My gut-feeling is that although there has been noise, he’ll stay. Externally, the Hardwick-Buckley narrrative might suffice to quell us dissenters.Internally, who knows?
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

I'm torn
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Re: POLL... RICHO
Remember this poll is binding
Seriously though... do you want Richo sacked. It’s not a hard poll. If you want more/different assistants, vote no.
Some ppl must be so fun at parties.
Anyway... I say dump him
