Adam Kingsley
Supposedly highly rated but I am not sold on this guy. He is the transitions coach and saints are terrible at it.
Teams like bulldogs of 2016 or Sydney of 2012 used to bring out of their back half. No aussie jones /gram
Kicking inside 50 is pretty ordinary as well.
Maybe he’s not quite where externally peoplr think he is figurativrly

Re: Adam Kingsley
Think the guy needs to stop working on his muscles and start working on his job cause he wont have one soon. There's nothing Ive seen that says this guy deserves another contract. Dont get why he's so highly rated.

Re: Adam Kingsley
He's been passed over for a top job a few times - not sure why people pump up his tyres. Safe to say that this "transition role" he took on this season has been a total failure.

Re: Adam Kingsley
the whole lot need to be cleared out. the club needs to clear the air of all the stink of this group.
we need a clean start. the players need to be coached and mentored by a new group that can rebuild their belief.
as long as major players like richo and kingsley remain, the environment remains heavily tainted. even the minor players in the coaching group will carry some of the stink. they all go.

The club needs to be wound up ASAP. It’s a total disaster. Wind the club up and give Tasmania an AFL side of their own.

Re: Adam Kingsley
Think unfair to whack any assistant coaches as we have no idea from where we sit of the influence they have, how much the head coach implements their ideas etc.
Traditionally Assistant coaches are there to deliver the message of the head coaches style, and in AFL this is broken up into groups and responsibility centres. T
They may be no good , alternatively they may have some great ideas which either arent implemented or conflict with what is an outdated game style the head coach has implemented.

Re: Adam Kingsley
Kingsley 8 years no success.
Richo 5 years no success.
Yet they survive the purge.
Apparently it’s the players not these guys.
5 years is a long time to be sh1t and keep your job...,but 8!!! F*ck me!

We must be grooming him to ship him off to another club and dismantle them from the inside out

Good call, it is Tasmania or an amalgamation with the Suns. I much prefer Tassiethejiggingsaint wrote: ↑Sun 05 Aug 2018 3:34pm The club needs to be wound up ASAP. It’s a total disaster. Wind the club up and give Tasmania an AFL side of their own.

Re: Adam Kingsley
Cannot believe that Sexton is going to survive the purge. What exactly has he been adequately directing as the Director of Coaching?
AFAIC - The Dribbler; Kingsley and Sexton are all tied at the hip.

The coaching and staff cull hasn't finished yet.

Re: Adam Kingsley
It's been evident since the JLT matches in that our movement or 'transition' from the back line and keeping it in the forward line simply has been disgusting. We've looked unnatural and robotic all year and I think the game that really highlighted this was the one against Geelong. I know Roberton going down hurt us specifically in that space but we displayed our inability and inefficiency to move the ball positively from the opening bounce that day. Things have not improved at all unfortunately. Horrible year!
Kingsley to me has most negatively impacted our 2018 gameplan and Richo has been left to clean up the mess.

Re: Adam Kingsley
I'm not sure how old you are TJ, and with all respect some people here have had many many years of this following the Saints. Yes, since the mid ninety's we have been a reasonably successful club (overall and without the choccies), but if you are near my age (mid 50's) then yeah you're going to be pretty frustrated
St. Kilda Football Club. Going strong, since 1960
