Whatever happens, Acres and Freeman must play

Given the responsibility I understand Gilbert has shouldered how does our defence structure up?
Because there is no KPP defender included as his replacement

You guys are cray... the obvious changes are
In
brown-dog, an under-done Webster and longer
Out
Rice, Clark & hickey.
Acres to work on his ruckwork in the magoos, freeman to clock up 50 straight vfl games before being considered. Goddard to start training with hawthorn where he'll become a very good player.

Hoping Freezer gets a game and a chance to show everybody whether he can make it at the highest level. I’ll be filthy if he doesn’t get played til round 23.
Can’t understand why Acres is languishing in the twos either. Must come in.

HB: McKenzie, Carlisle, Rice
C: Acres, Steele, Sinclair

Expecting that it will be Rice and Phillips out for Webster and Acres though.

Love those outs and ins. Pretty much what I'd do. What's the point of picking old blokes now; or the usual suspects who are unlikely to improve?mad saint guy wrote: ↑Mon 23 Jul 2018 3:17am If I could pick the team:

Re: Changes for next week
Newnes needs to be dropped.
It just can't go on with his auto selection and 4/10 games.
Acres should come in and be made captain.
Freeman vice captain.
Out Newnes, Weller

Re: Changes for next week
Freeman's first game should be in front of a home crowd not away so I doubt he will get picked. Also don't build your hopes up, at Sandy he is playing well but not brilliantly
For those asking for Goddard to be picked you obviously have not seen him play at Sandy. Simply put he isn't good. He is slow at VFL level he would suck at Afl level.
For those Brown bashers, have you noticed what happens in defense when he isn't there. It's not good. Gilbo goes into defense and we become leaky. If Brown is fit he plays
Acres in as is webster

Re: Changes for next week
The fundamentals of team sport have been totally ignored when you single out just 1 player.
It's this sort of post which continues to push an agenda where you lose all credibility. It's biased and subjective and has nothing to do with reality. You and some other simpletons just want to use Hickey as a scapegoat for a 10 goal loss and it highlights how poor a judge you are. Have you looked at the stats on the night for the ruckmen? When Hickey went head to head with Nank the stats show he beat him. Not Hickey's job to win the groundballs. Why do you continue to repeat the same boring baseless bulltish?

You do not understand or know Ruckwork, that's obvious!!!!!
Your the only simpleton, not blaming Hickledik only for the 10 goal loss, just stating that he is s*** and we will never be any good with him in the team!!!!!
The reality is, Hickey is rubbish and you have never played a single minute in the ruck if you think differently!!!!!
Check all the stats you like, Nank won the battle, Hickeys possies are a waste of time!!!!!
Think what you like, I don't care, your opinion is that of a arm chair expert!!!!!
Go away!!!!!

Re: Changes for next week
St Kilda...From the hun.
State league affiliate: Sandringham (VFL)
This weekend: Sandringham v Richmond - Sunday, July 22, 2pm, Trevor Barker Beach Oval
Could round 19 be the week Nathan Freeman earns his long-awaited AFL debut?
The injury-prone midfielder amassed 30 disposals and kicked a goal, and must surely be a strong chance to play against the Giants on Saturday.
Blake Acres is banging down the door in terms of winning his spot back in the Saints' side.
Following a combined 54 disposals in his past two VFL outings, Acres won 36 possessions against the Tigers.
Young defender Nick Coffield (29 touches) also won plenty of the ball.
Rookie Ray Connellan slotted two of the Zebras' nine goals in the 66-point loss.

Re: Changes for next week
Here's the thing. Dipper was so dumb that any footy credibility and knowledge the guy had was thrown out the window because he was so shythouse at commentating. Same but slightly different for you stoney
Any credibility you had was thrown out the door when you showed time after time that you were biased when it came to the Hickey vs Longer debate. You are clearly compromised. You are better off staying neutral or not commenting. At least then, your point of view might have some credibility on other topics
