Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) coming home
https://www.smh.com.au/sport/afl/lynch- ... 4zgtv.html
I heard a whisper a while ago and didn't want to reveal too much, but it is what it is. Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) is highly likely to return to Melbourne. We should offer him big $ to get him back.
I've also heard Lethlean is currently going and is going to go hard to bring players into the club. He is starting to become more vocal and active recently. I like it. He is a sound and aggressive operator in AFL circles that might end up being a good pickup that others shunted for obvious reasons.

Re: Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) coming home
How long was he on our list?
And what did we get back from the trade?
From memory, it was 3 years and we got a late 2nd rounder or thereabouts.

Waste of time, we should target only midfielders, we're well stocked for everything else.

Re: Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) coming home
We're well stocked with frequently out of form, injury prone, misfiring forwards. He'd be a good get.
Anyway, can't see it happening, why on earth would he come back to a club that almost killed off his career when the Pies, Dopers, Carlton, etc. would fall over themselves for him?

Re: Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) coming home
Fellas. We need anyone we can get in any position that will improve the side so T. Lynch would be a great get (again). But yes also, we need onballers and wingers with a turn of speed.

Didn't he follow his girlfriend over to S.A?

At 21 years of age? Wouldn't surprise me...young blokes that are in love do silly stuff sometimes. It has been recorded as such across the pages of history. When will the male sex ever learn?!

Re: Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) coming home
Good player that needs a certain set up including a good midfield. I’m not against him coming to us, but not sure he is the type player that would fit our current requirements.
I’m not for a scatter gun strategy of targeting any good player that happens to be available.

How many games has he had a BOG in?
He’s more a GOP that plays in a team with an A grade midfield.

3 more years living in Adelaide...poor fella.
Does this make Sloane more likely to return to Vic? I hear Hawthorn are now the frontrunners.

Re: Tom Lynch (ex-Saint) coming home
I didn't predict it, the rumour mill had him heading home to Melbourne for typical reasons. He chose Adelaide of course which was a chance too.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Mon 25 Jun 2018 1:07amwell. you predicted the Ranga would go back to Melb.parkeysainter wrote: ↑Sun 24 Jun 2018 10:59am 3 more years living in Adelaide...poor fella.

And yes, Lethlean is going hard, but we might still get nothing. Surely we will get someone though!!
