Bring back Graeme Gellie!
He's still only 63 (if alive) and a real Saints man. He would have been a great coach (had he not been sacked).

He would have been a great player if his knee hadn't buckled.
I think the 2018 Saints have turned to Jelly, but not Gellie.

Re: Bring back Graeme Gellie!
He WAS a great player. Had the skills of Greg Williams. He could handball both hands and 25 metres. Not a long kick, but a great pass - both feet! Imagine him in front of Plugger!Enrico_Misso wrote: ↑Thu 14 Jun 2018 7:52pm He would have been a great player if his knee hadn't buckled.

Re: Bring back Graeme Gellie!
He's a good guy, Graeme Gellie. I met him as a kid at a Family Day back in 1986. He asked me who my favourite player was. I said Tony Lockett and he said "Oh, not Tony! You don't want Tony as your favourite player." He then glanced at Trevor Barker who was standing nearby and said "How about Barks?" Words of wisdom.
Was always curious as to how he got the nickname "Crow"?

Re: Bring back Graeme Gellie!
I saw him play, and he had great skills and probably if not for injuries, would have gone on to be one of the best onballers of the era.

Just one?
That's strange as he was very two-sided....
Nothing better than a good Dad Joke.
