Hickey good again. Longer to be traded as he is 4th in line now.
Yep, another solid game by Hickey. Most hit outs on the ground, and we broke even in clearances with the reigning premieres.
I especially liked in the last when he followed up after the centre bounce, knocked some blokes out of the way, tapped the ball out in front of Gresh who then goalled. Won’t get a stat for it, but he was the reason for the goal.

29..?
I suppose this is from the man who argues 12 is more than 11!

Felt like 29, just checking to see if your sad, lonely little life still revolves around Stonecold watch, looks like it, but apparently Tom beat Nank?????
So 11 is more than 12 in your little world?????
Its still a win less fail for Tom from me!!!!!

Longer is useless but has experience and is big bodied so he would be my call, Marshall would get destroyed
I think the only problem with that is that Perth Stadium has shown itself to be a spacious fast deck and that's unlikely to help Billy (given he's pretty hopeless as soon as (1) the ruck contest is over and (2) the ball hits the deck).
I fear for our scoreboard this week if they manage to get it on the outside a lot and given NicNat is in reasonable form (as are their mids) ....
The Eagles are all in great form, Lycett is playing like a no 1 ruckman. The ground is big I agree but no good sending in a young body, tic tac is a pretty big machine. Marshall is not that mobile yet either, it will be a tough test for him if he is picked. Thats the folly of letting Mcevoy go.
The problem is you just can’t have Hickey and Longer in the same team no matter who you prefer
So that leaves Marshall or Pierce to have to come in.
It pbly makes the most sense for Marshall to go to CHB... but I’ll be honest, am hanging to see Pierce have another go. The insiders have said he is the most natural of our rucks before he vanished last season.
Probably right skeptic, they are not a good match in the same team. I dont know anything about Pierce so can't comment. It looks like Marshall then. If we are not in front at quarter time it will get bloody ugly, very quickly.

Most hitouts on the ground, 18 touches, +7 in clearances, anything nice at all to say about Hickey Stoney???
Eagles had more hitouts, but Hickey improving.
I meant Hickey had more hit outs then anyone else on the ground.
So he should of, he spent more time in the Ruck than anyone else, (double really), yet still lost the hitouts to he's opponents, NicNat in the best players for eagles, didn't see hickeys name in there!!!!!
Something to say: Hickey is the softest player in the league and another loss with him as #1 Ruck!!!!!
