Mitch Wallis
Restrict free agent at the end of this year. Seems out of favor at the dogs....could be a very good replacement for Koby.
I love the way this guy goes about it. Hard in and under......is he already out the door and the coach knows it..? Hopefully its into saints colors 2019..?

Re: Mitch Wallis
Good player but is the one type of midfielder we don't need.
We need outside runners not ball winners.
We are actually quite good at getting the ball it is what we do with it when we get that is the problem.
He would be fighting with Dunstan, Steele, Ross etc... for a place.

Re: Mitch Wallis
Steele and Dunstan haven't been outstanding but they're still young and will get better at playing their roles. I reckon Armo may play on and he has 1 more year left in him. I think Armo will come into the team soon if he's fit, and will also play an important role as an inside mid. If Koby Stevens decides to retire that perhaps changes things and maybe we do need another inside mid like Mitch. Problem is that I don't think replacing one of our current list with a Mitch Wallis is going to make a big difference in the next few years
Would really love a guy like Gaff to join us. If by some miracle we could get Sloan and maybe even offer him the captaincy that might finally be the catalyst to propel us into the top 8. We'd be a different team with Sloan and Gaff but if we miss out on these guys, stick to yourh.

Re: Mitch Wallis
A statement. There are 3 possibly 4 Sth Aussies likely to go in the top 10 this year and Adelaide wants at least two of them.

Re: Mitch Wallis
I'd take him if he would just require cap space which we would otherwise use to overpay kids. He's an upgrade on Stevens at least

Re: Mitch Wallis
Why would Gaff or Sloan go to St Kilda ? There is no possible reason I can think of. Put yourself In Gaffs shoes because he is currently playing a key role with the Flag favourite. Very wishful thinking. Mitch Wallis is probably better than any saints midfielder apart from the brilliant Jack Stevens problem is that motivation seems to be an issue with some of the Bulldogs players after winning a flag from nowhere.
