17.9,111 to 10 .6 64.
Billy tweeked a knee that quarter but also tapped the ball to a player for a goal.
Only trouble is it wasn't a sandy player or goal..
Geez that Connellan is quick.
Minch playing well...got a goal that quarter. Armo best Sandy player.
Battle missed a couple.
Took a great mark right in front, but kicked a point to the right of the post, ...exactly where he was running...

was there much wind assistance ?
Was a big score for this mob and it looks like Ray Connellan has kicked a bag
WE might have a something special wildcard here

Re: VFL Rd 8 Sandringham Vs Werribee
Gotta give Armo credit...
Many of us are ready to pull the trigger on him but he’s making it incredibly hard for them not to select him.
Good to Connellan and Minch get a bit of it

Re: VFL Rd 8 Sandringham Vs Werribee
Goddard's marking was impressive and Clavarino is pretty quick for a guy his size.
Doulton played okay too seeing he is just over glandular fever. That can knock you about for about 6 months.
Minch is a class footballer, especially around goals.
Billy was dominant in the ruck and Marshall played okay.
Battle has a way to go before he gets a another game in the firsts. tough as an old boot though.
Armo was a class above everyone else on the ground, but needs to be fully fit to get a recall.

Re: VFL Rd 8 Sandringham Vs Werribee
Hopefully your bro can get 30+ at AFL level cause we need him in the team and playing well. We could do with his leadership too. The team is missing players that can crack in when the opposition are taking momentum away from us.

You could see Armo teaching the young Sandy players where to stand/go.
Definitely a club leader.

I was there today.
Minch will line up for the Saints next week I reckon.
I saw Richo and Lethlean talking to each other so no fall out there as yet.

Re: VFL Rd 8 Sandringham Vs Werribee
The wind wasn't a factor.
At the sponsor function Sammy Hamill said that Armo was right to go despite not being 100%. But he is a beast at stoppages and that is wny he is in the side.
The prediction was right as Armo dominated in and under.
Hugh Goddard took a another strong step.
Copped a double knock early in the ,ast but came back on and continued to mark strongly.
Plenty of promising signs.(But I guess it was only Werribee).

Where is B. Seccull from? No 5. He plays in the centre. Very good player and looks up to AFL standard.

Re: VFL Rd 8 Sandringham Vs Werribee
Surely you don't think his game against Collingwood warranted senior selection this week?
First game I've seen live this year and really felt for him but I don't reckon a forty something Nathan Burke would have looked any more gone than Dave.Hope there was some underlying niggle that he has overcome and he can reproduce a similar effort (this week's) when next recalled to seniors!

But against the Pies, jogged slowly, no intensity, either bored and over it, or injured and not up to it.
He's your bro, you would know.
If he didn't give a sh1t, then Zebs game has taught him a lesson

Thanks. He is a good player and should be considered for getting drafted. He obviously has a brain too which helps with decision making.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Sun 27 May 2018 8:46pmhttp://www.heraldsun.com.au/leader/loca ... 84143c6be2parkeysainter wrote: ↑Sun 27 May 2018 8:20pm Where is B.
