Ameet Bains
The smartest thing this dude did was bail out while everyone was still
calling him a list-managing genius.
Either that our development is even worse than we think.

Re: Ameet Bains
Over the last 7 years we have had plenty of first round draft picks.
But not one of them has or looks like being an A grader.
That is a savage indictment of all our recruiters over that period.
Maybe hie Emma Quake?
She seems to know a lot more about it than the performing monkeys we pay to recruit duds.
And we are paying them premium peanuts.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Re: Ameet Bains
Ameet was a nice bloke with compentant corporate tendencies.
How the hell he was ever allowed to get near the list management AND recruiting process is totally beyond me.
Yet people on this board hailed him as a messiah. Because he’s a corporate lawyer? That just makes him good at speaking in cliches.
Between him and Tony Elshaug, they have given us this utterly rubbish list.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Has left us with some disastrous contracts.
McKenzie and Armo for next year. McCartin and Bruce until 2020.
Richo.

Re: Ameet Bains
Not necessarily the recruiters who have the problem. You have to also question the way we develop players. Compare us to Hawthorn. They develop and make players better. Not sure we do.Enrico_Misso wrote: ↑Sun 20 May 2018 9:30am Over the last 7 years we have had plenty of first round draft picks.

Agree 100% - we are absolute cr#p at developing players.twirlyhair wrote: ↑Sun 27 May 2018 11:23amNot necessarily the recruiters who have the problem. Bump
Ameet destroyed our club and has now moved on to ruin the Bulldogs.
A real A grade operator.

Re: Ameet Bains
The conundrum for me is what was/is the board thinking. Ameet, Pelchen, Watters, patently just not up to the responsibilities they were given. And now AR. I watched D. Sexton (who does what?) nagging at Richo on the bench. I would have thought so much more of Alan if he just slapped him to shut him up. Kingsley was not shown tonight but Hamill was. Only so much room on a sinking ship I guess. Welcome aboard Mr Lethlean, time to start bailing and paddling.

Lethlean is lucky to have any job and is already trying to escape the Titanic.Yorkeys wrote: ↑Sun 10 Jun 2018 1:30am The conundrum for me is what was/is the board thinking. Common knowledge he applied for the vacant CEO spot at the Demons.
