Re: Blue Sky Brigade
You're wrong. We hate it! We have been rebuilding for 5+ years and it is time to be climbing the ladder - not stuck in the bottom 4. We want heads to roll. Con has been filthy on our recruiters for years. He turned on the admin and the board late last year for prematurely extending Richo's contract. This is a results based business so you cannot defend the club or the coach any longerparkeysainter wrote:I'm not part of anything. Is this like high school or something? For the record, given some of the analysis going on regarding last nights game, we lost because of our poor kicking for goal. Simple as that. Nothing to do with Coaches, gameplan or recruitment. Was it 5 or 6 routine shots for goal we missed in succession between the third and early final quarters? We had done enough to be 3 or 4 goals ahead at 3 qtr time. Same last week against GWS.
Membrey's disgraceful miss! Is that a true reflection of Membrey's ability? Is that the Coach?

Not really sure who Con is targeting - the Club or the "Blue Sky" posters supposedly on here. I would be a blue skyer, and everyone is entiltled to a view, be it Blue Sky or Doomsday or on the fence. Makes for a healthy discussion. Don't understand the venom, sounds as if you are jealous of positive attitudes. I would much rather be a Blue Skyer than a Doomsdayer - a much better life.Linton Lodger wrote:What are you actually trying to say? The Saints just need reasonable improvement in disposal efficiency, and we will be much more competitive, and a threat to all sides. Simples.

Re: Blue Sky Brigade
Its just vulgar posting really. No need for it as women and young adults visit SS.net no doubt.
Some people/posters are just very sad people that harp on about the negatives on here day in and day out. I don't get it, but each to their own. It astounds me grown adults behave like that, but anyway...

I am going to both Perth games, wearing the colours.

Re: Blue Sky Brigade
When was the last time a player from any club in the competition was benched for making a mistake??????? This isn't 1988, with limited interchange, players are only taken off as per the pre-arranged schedule, its only about rotations now.WellardSaint wrote:Calm and reasoned.thejiggingsaint wrote:A calm and reasoned post. Re: Blue Sky Brigade
Unfortunately, these days with teams pushing the limits of endurance and rotations needing to be spot on, you cannot bench players for long periods of time. He may well have been benched if that wasn't the case. Seeing the vision in the box, there is no doubt that Richo was apoplectic with rage, he did well to keep him himself composed.WellardSaint wrote:Calm and reasoned.thejiggingsaint wrote:A calm and reasoned post. Re: Blue Sky Brigade
I was GUTTED watching at the ground and seeing Tim Membrey miss that “gimme” . I could have cheerfully throttled him.... then I realised that HE was there on the paddock, in front of a full house , and I’m sure he felt ten times worse than me( sitting in the grandstand) I guess if they want to “make a statement” then they could drop him next game?
