Wayne Carey's Article re Demons reads for us too
Had a read of Carey's article re the demons basically having their season on the line this weekend and most of the stuff he was talking about, their lack of confidence etc basically he could have been talking about us. You do get the feeling if we can find some form and confidence from a wide range of players, then we can still make something of this year...it's a topsy turvy year so far for a bunch of teams which gives us hope, but if we stink it up against the hawks, we are well and truely shot ducks!

Melbourne are just doing what Melbourne do.
Was talking to a feral Melbourne supporter bloke at work last week after the Giants game and he reckons that McCartin is shaping up to have a massive breakout game against his mob next week.
His logic was quite amusing. And then the tractor gets a finger infection this week and he starts talking up how ultimately we drafted the right bloke.
They are a bunch of defeatist clowns with quite an underwhelming football team.

Agreed. While we seriously lack star power, we also have quite a few players who've had enough purple patches to show that they can play at an A level. If they started playing to their ability on a more consistent basis, we could still have a pretty handy team.Saint wagga wrote:Had a read of Carey's article re the demons basically having their season on the line this weekend and most of the stuff he was talking about, their lack of confidence etc basically he could have been talking about us. Especially when the finger has no reason for him not being in the team.bigred wrote:Melbourne are just doing what Melbourne do.
