It is refreshing to see that when times are tough humans seem to never change....they might reach out to help a stranger in harm but "you always hurt, the one you love, the one, you love, the most".

When my children are struggling I don't reject them and with hold my resources from them...I lavish them with time, money, love, attention and approval.

But when it comes to footy, "supporters" with hold when the club is most desperate and in need...if you are Sainter and don't have a membership you don't belong...you aren't a supporter...you aren't even a fan...you are an observer who may or may not learn towards St Kilda IF and I mean IF they are winning...

St Kilda has surged past 40,000 members, hitting the milestone in the fastest time in club history.

The membership tally now sits at 40,323 – more than 2,000 ahead of this point last year.

in april we were 2,000 ahead of last year. so we have picked up 2000 more through the season than the year before (6000 vs 4000). curious.

I rang them yesterday just to make sure I’m not on that “ automatic renewal “ scheme. I’m going to scale back from 16 game membership to 11 Home games. Knocking Social Club in the head too. Sent the draw tickets back as well.

Like wise. I've canned my automatic renewal but don't have any intention of renewing as long as Finnis is CEO.

I wonder if I was the + one to make it 45 000. I hadn’t renewed my member this year after 27 years and received a letter last week with Mr Finnis informing me that RSEA had kindly paid my membership for the rest of the year.
