How the Adelaide game will pan out.....
1st quarter - lots of huffing puffing and passion from the Saints. We will look a million bucks but miss a few easy goals
and lead by 2 goals at quarter time.
2nd quarter - We will still look motivated but the Crows, whonhave soaked up the pressure, will gradually turn it up a notch, ever so slightly. Scores a goal either way at half time.
Last half - Adelaide will warm the burners initially and then fully crank them up. Sloane & Gibbs will start to go nuts and Tex and little Eddie will cream us in their forward half.
End result - Crows easy winners by 7-10 goals.

Re: How the Adelaide game will pan out.....
Betts has no goals in 2 games so far.
If I've learnt anything about our guys, they run other teams into form.
Expect Betts to have 4 by half-time as he runs amok while our defenders all
get caught napping each time ball hits the deck.
Rooey was the on-field Sgt-Major who yelled at his team-mates and demanded (and sometimes got) effort/focus/accountability.
Gears just tells them about Fairy Dust n Rainbows, and 'forget about percentage'

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Nah.
Will either get completely pantsed and we have another wonderful week on this board.
Or we come out and actually have a crack.
My bet is on the latter. We just cannot be that bad.

Honorable loss or maybe even a victory.
Then get creamed in the next four games.

Been some good Saints teams that have been beaten by the Crows over the years. Just pack the backline and make it a boring low scoring game, rather than a boring one-sided game. That shouldn't tax Richo too much on the tactical front...but even that may be too complicated.

Richo needs a week off, give someone else a go for a week.spert wrote:Been some good Saints teams that have been beaten by the Crows over the years. Big payout coming if we axe him at the end of the year.
I’m so relieved we signed him until the end of 2020 - imagine how sort after he’d be for another senior coaching gig??

I would really like to see a mentor in the coaching box with him- what the heck..I would almost be happy of he punched a hole in the wall of the coaching box when things went wrong instead of sitting there like a stunned mullet. Too much tolerance, and PC glossing over of mediocre outcomes. Where's our passion??saintspremiers wrote:Richo needs a week off, give someone else a go for a week.spert wrote:Been some good Saints teams that have been beaten by the Crows over the years. Re: How the Adelaide game will pan out.....
Adelaide 2017 is the prototype of what we want to be IMO... I think that’s what AR wants
Fast and direct ball movement, cut through the oppositions defences with pinpoint passing... big dominant forwards and deadly crumbers feasting on ball entry
At Etihad where there is no weather to slow them down... I reckon they cut us to pieces unfortunately. Games over at 1/4 time

Thanks but I’m no genius. I just know our team and it’s severe limitations, including the coach.congorozides wrote:Pretty much spot on.saintspremiers wrote:1st quarter - lots of huffing puffing and passion from the Saints. We will look a million bucks but miss a few easy goals

As for Kardinia Park, we should just forfeit. 100 point defeat is likely
