Re: Steven flying injury free
Tip for everyone with HS articles.
1) Always completely clear your history and cookies in your browser first
2) Then type in the article name or something close to it in google search (directly into browser window is better)
3) When the article appears after a google search then click on it. You will be allowed to access the HS article then.
This is how you bypass a subscription only article for the HS website. Unfortunately, you have to follow these steps from scratch to read any subscription only article after you have read one.

Re: Steven flying injury free
okay, here is a portion of the article. Gives you the gist of it.
"EVERY time Jack Steven tried to break away from a stoppage last year, his hamstring protested loudly.
For a player who had made his career exploiting his explosive speed, the hamstring tendinitis robbed him of his main weapon.
The famously relaxed St Kilda fan favourite still didn’t think his year was terrible, but after winning three recent best-and-fairests, he could only manage a sixth placing.
In a St Kilda side crying out for A-graders, no wonder coach Alan Richardson is so excited about Steven’s summer of toil. Richardson says Steven is “flying”, having completed almost every session in an off-season where he and partner Indiana have been busy with new daughter Maggie.
Steven isn’t one for hyperbole, but admits it is a relief to be able to rely on that breakneck speed again.

“Everyone kept telling me I had a bad year. I didn’t think it was too bad. But I had the hammy tendon issue so I didn’t have any explosiveness, which is my main thing.
“I got tagged a few games and didn’t handle that as well, so I just had a really cruisy start to this pre-season and put all my time and effort into our new baby and now it feels fine."
enjoy.
