I don't remember details about Zac's game but it was an Elimination Final. Generally he was great for us in finals.saynta wrote:His performance in his last game in saints colours which was a prelim final against the swans was absolutely pathetic.spert wrote:Dawson was one of our best finals performers though.saynta wrote:Rex Hunt was a fine player in saints colours.
I won't mention Zac Dawson or that thug Brent Guerra.

Yep. I have already stated in an earlier post that I was talking about that tanking thug Guerra.kosifantutti wrote:I don't remember details about Zac's game but it was an Elimination Final. Agree on Guerra. I thought he was horrible in his last year.saynta wrote:Yep. Unfortunately for us players leaving us were far better than the players that came to us (in the majority).
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

I thought Daryl was much better than Shane Wakelin,Daryl wanted to go home to S.A. Port Adelaide started up,he chose to go.Shane was delisted
but I admit became much better at Coll.
That's as I remember it.

Don't forget that fat rat's tossbag cleaned them out. For some reason, in his own mind, he thought they were party boys and a bad influence on the group. Nothing could've been further from the truth. They were good clubmen, professional in their attitude and popular with team mates. Another bewildering decision by the genius. Oh, Blighty. We hardly knew ye!
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

Re: Best team of Saints players who have gone elsewhere
Not sure they had a party boys reputation and that being the reason ross tossed daryl
Besides there were far worse left at club after those two
And it's funny how people judge
If Guerra got that toe poke against port over there we might have gone all the way and he becomes a hero
But he is remembered for missing...and leaves a Zero
Milne misses a toe poke he might have goaled if he snapped it in the air
Bad bounce ....unlucky hero
