Re: Ty Vickery?
Funny how he left Richmond and they win the premiership, whilst going to Hawthorn and they floundered.

He should be sent to Seaford, no doubt.

Re: Ty Vickery?
I heard Grace 'Gucci' and Robert 'Crocodile' Mugabe will be available by the end of the week. Maybe they can bring their expierence to the Saints management team in the head office.

Didn't Peter Everitt have a similar effect of taking teams in the wrong direction upon arrival?Sainternist wrote:Funny how he left Richmond and they win the premiership, whilst going to Hawthorn and they floundered.

Re: Ty Vickery?
The article on Vickery on the AFL.com site, says something about his salary being included in 2018 salary cap. Can’t recall exactly what the technicalities are. Hawthorn & Vickery working out how much he will be paid out, the remainder still is part of their salary cap, so he’s been an expensive FA for them and not a very good one to boot.Toy Saint wrote:How does work it with Vickery's salary for the remainder of his contract?
It it still counted toward Hawthorn's salary cap?

Re: Ty Vickery?
This is another bust for the hawks and they've had plenty of them. Notice how there never seems to be any mention of their recruiting and trading howlers? Garlett, anyone? Their legendary culture has failed as many as it has turned around. Another example of how winning premierships is all that matters. Win them and all is forgiven. Success has many fathers. Failure is a bastard.
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."
