I wish our club had the sway to lure star players over of Buddy's calibre. But we can't even tempt a guy born and bred on the bayside to move away from a plastic club that plays a final in front of the lowest attendance since World War I. Go figure! :(
Exactly.
Even after all these years I am still angry.
Very very VERY VERY ANGRY at how the AFL engineered for Plugger to go north because Shytney needed a marquee player to crack their all important Sydney market.
Buddy is just another example in a long line of such engineered imports.
Then there is the salary cap extensions, marketing allowances, favourable fixturing, prime TV slots, their academies, executives parachuted in, different tribunal rules etc.

And the double whammy is that this favoured AFL parasitic bastard love child which is so hard to compete against because of their unfair advantages is actually propped up with OUR money!!!!

I've got nothing against Buddy personally but I sincerely hope that Shytney NEVER EVER succeeds whilst he is there.
So I celebrate another Buddy-beautiful September Shytney failure.

I am OK.
But the integrity of the AFL competition is NOT!
It is NOT an even playing field.
That is what stinks.
That is what makes me angry.
No other elite sport in the world would put up with the shonky biases that we have in our fixturing and subsidising.

I'm just about certain the afl wanted buddy to go to gws. Think you will find every major sport in the world has faults it's just that the afl is number one here so we knock them even though every unbiased person says how well tge competition is run but of course there are faults

Well run? Frogshit.

You might be able to say that if you were a filth supporter or a cheating drugged out Essendon Supporter. Saints supporter, no way.

You tell me why we had the second toughest draw after finishing 9th last year plus all the crap scheduling times?

+1

In the eyes of the AFL, we're an irrelevant club
