Jack Sinclair - Doing the #35 Proud!
I thought he played out of his skin today. A possibility for BOG? Just loved his composure and he really backed himself. Most of his possessions turned to gold. Or am I overrating his game?
Nevertheless, he is really developing nicely as a senior AFL player.

Kept us in it at one point when were losing.
Played a great game. I like him a lot. Has a career in front of him.

He had a bit of the old R. Harvey razzle dazzle in his game today.

Turned the game around today with sheer class when we were in trouble.

There was that play where he got caught out wide on the boundary, kept his feet and balance and got it out again. Definitely a bit of Banger magic about him today

Over half the side today. All under 25 years old. All good.

Yep, he just seems to find time and space like the old champ.SemperFidelis wrote:There was that play where he got caught out wide on the boundary, kept his feet and balance and got it out again. Definitely a bit of Banger magic about him today

Re: Jack Sinclair - Doing the #35 Proud!
As I said in the match thread today, IMO Sinclair is the best kick in the team by some considerable margin. Shane Savage has a beautiful boot on him, and kicked a lovely goal today, but he does not always take the best option. Sinclair almost always picks the right option and executes it. I had him BOG at HT. I think he was played a bit too deep in second half and faded a touch, but he is just so good by foot and hand.

Keeps his feet when others slip over, has time, composure and execution.

Re: Jack Sinclair - Doing the #35 Proud!
And here is a player that many said - earlier this year as well as last season - was not up to it.
Just like Seb Ross before him.
Perhaps, one day, it will dawn on all of us the reason these players keep getting picked is because the club believes they are made of the right stuff. Just need tie and games under their belt.

pretty good sign when the side is struggling that he steps it up.......many can downhill ski .......Sinclair I think knows the moment in a game to which is important

Agree. I was 50:50 on him before this season.Vazelos wrote:He is one of the huge positives of 2017..
We found an excellent player and came off the rookie list.
Well done Jack Sinclair.

Had a great fend off in the last quarter. It's great seeing that.
These players bench press thousands of times over through the seasons, then that moment comes when that accumulated strength enables that awesome fend off.

If we had more players that could use the ball as well as Sincs does we would win more games.

He has, negative we used to call it in the old days, "A good foot".
I think you're pretty tough, don't I?

Seems to make every possession count. Not just kicking it to a team mate but kicking it to advantage, setting up the next play and creating scoring opportunities.

Some guys have footy smarts. Many do not. Sins does. You can, if you watch him closely, see his weigh up his options and often change to a better one.remboy wrote:Seems to make every possession count.
