We have had a good run with injuries this year.
Hawks are missing Birchall, Rioli, Puoplo, JOM, Gibson, Frawley, Ceglar, Stratton and a few others.
So no - I dont buy this.

And we are only missing Joey, Roo, Goddard, Rice, Meatball, Stevens, Gilbert, Armitage and Freeman

I think Sanday has only 7 or 8 Saints playing today, including the two irish boys.

No excuse for bad kicking though.

Also Hickey, Marshall, Battle and McCartin and the Irish boys are rookies still learning the game.

Honestly some people seem to think we are the only club in the AFL with young players.

The Hawks also have two Irish Rookies - Nash and Glass - on their list.

Add to that - there is an equalisation policy in the AFL and the Hawks just won 4 flags if you hadnt noticed.
Therefore our young players should be much better than theirs.
