to the development team.
I hate to say it but the best thing for McCartin would be if he were to retire at season's end and spare himself the brain damage of further concussions.
I agree re: changes, stonecold - I only expect minimal (but if the selectors meant business on the other hand).
I'm not sold on Longer - but he's robust - which is more than you can say about Hickey. So it's a rickety old bandwagon, the Hickey one I'm on.
Longer dominated the hitouts last week, but Sydney dominated the clearances - so hitouts mean absolutely nothing. His 0 or 1 kick or 1 or 2 marks per game and rushed, ineffective handballs - however many (with most going nowhere)- don't enthuse me.

Fair enough, we are allowed to vent, so go for it!!!!!
'Cause StoneCold Said So'!!!!! We will be great again once Billy is back playing!!!!!
Hickey was less than effective V Essendon. So it's hard to see him figuring in the side any time soon. I'd prefer to see us persevere with Marshall in the side.

St Kilda in 2017 with Bruce & Membrey in the team : 9-4, average 96pts for.
St Kilda in 2017 without one of Bruce or Membrey : 0-4, average 58pts for.
Hard to argue those numbers. Membrey would have to be in our top 5 players that influence our team. Id have Ross, Carlise, Billings (when he's on) and Steven rounding out that 5. You could make a strong case for Roberton in there also. We have looked lost when we go forward last few weeks. He gives a great pair of hands to link on the wing and more importantly a fantatstic target up forward. Bonus that he can kick straight!
Membrey for Roo
Marshall for Gilbert (no team change, just position change)
Wright or Weller into the forward line
White, Dmac, Rice for Joey - no standouts from the group at VFL level.

No omissions.
There must be an omission as you have brought in three with two out (Roo and Joey)

Hickey was so bad, it was like the Injectors having an extra player.
What about that spoil on Carlisle who was trying to mark in the forward line?
That's a total lack of awareness.
He can't spoil an opponent, but he can bloody spoil his own team-mate!
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.
