Screw you Buckenara
You know what you can do prick.

"I would also be asking the question of Paddy McCartin.
He too is a Geelong boy and I wonder whether moving closer to where he grew up might allow him to settle and realise what he needs to do to become a consistent AFL player.
The Cats need another forward because Taylor is better in defence and he would be the No.1 man for the next 10 years after Tom Hawkins retires.
With the concussion issues he has at the moment, that could be a good move for him if the Cats sell it well enough.
I’d also ask the question of his teammate, Hugh Goddard. Where does he fit at the Saints?
He has been injured but Jake Carlisle and Nathan Brown are the key defenders and Josh Bruce, Tim Membrey and McCartin - if he stays - are the forwards after Nick Riewoldt retires. Plus they recruited Josh Battle as a key forward last year, too.
Could Goddard be squeezed out with the promise of senior opportunities either forward or back and learning from superstars with premiership experience? He also played with the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup. I’d ask the question."
And to think this clown gets paid to write this crap.

What did Hardwick say about Kane Cornes?
This applies also to Buckenara, the failed coach who got paid to pretend
to coach Sydney a long time ago.
He was similar to Blight, just wanted some income and thought it would just happen by itself

When he coached the Swans he made the team, after a nasty loss, crawl through gravel and mud to toughen up. Surprisingly he lost the group. Why would we even consider he was sensible.

Re: Screw you Buckenara
Buckenara is an irrelevant old fool past his use by date.
Rehashed the same article for weeks just changing the club and player names.
He thinks every club is a chance for Rocky, Dusty an Kelly.
Absolute drivel.
He is still pissed off the Hawks sacked him

I would take it too but the AFL may block it.Con Gorozidis wrote:If Geelong offered us pick 15.
I'd take it.
They might want us to trade out a player in return.

But seriously the question is what is Paddy's sale price.Con Gorozidis wrote:If Geelong offered us pick 15.

Would you take pick No 1 for Paddy.
What about pick No 15.
How may draft points would your sell Paddy for, (if he wanted to leave).

Does Paddy have any value as a trade at all.
I don't know what insurance arrangements the club or the AFL have for players injured by repeat concussions.
If I were insuring either the club or the AFL, I would exclude Paddy McCartin because of his propensity to get concussed.
Let me express that another way - if Paddy plays for St Kilda or Sandringham your insurance policy is null and void.
If Paddy has not played his last game then come the end of year - his doctors, the club, the AFL and insurers may well conclude he must be cut before any more damage.
My SMSF has done better than any industry super fund in each of the last 3 years.
To do that you need analyse the risks of all prospective investments and don't take them on unless you have a strategy to protect against them.
Paddy would certainly fail my risk assessment.
SELL

Re: Screw you Buckenara
Is this not the guy whose current job is trying to resurrect Frankston and previous job was at North Ballarat?
Surely if he was considered half decent as a recruiter or list manager then he would be in a role doing that rather than working for the two biggest basket cases at VFL level.

unfortunately Paddy is not a proven player yet and I agree I wouldn't be looking to take him on if I were at another club. The risk is too high for an unproven player. At best some club may offer a mid-late second round pick to see if we bite. For that price, I'd probably say we might as well roll the dice and keep him.

Well then if we screwed up that badly then McCartin must be a useless cnt therefore no other team should bother picking him up ............... or is it that Buckanera is the useless cnt thinking that we would give him up that easily?magnifisaint wrote:Sorry but St Kilda screwed up bigtime.
