Our Last Win Across the Nullabor?
I honestly can't remember the last time we won over in Perth against either the Weagles or Dockers. Was it 2010 against the Weagles? Kosifantuti is good at providing these kinds of stats. Thanks in advance, Kosi!
Whenever that last win out West was, it was too bloody long ago. We're well over due to see the boys take some glory from an interstate trip; and against an interstate team on their own turf (the Tassie game against Hawthorn doesn't count).
Time to give a little bit of love back to old mate Rossy!

I have absolutely no recollection of this game, only the home game we played against Freo that year.
That said, a win across there this weekend is definitely on the cards!

st kilda 15.12.102 freo 7.14.56
Crowd 35,483
report says Dockers had just beaten Crows a week earlier...
"Fremantle struggled to have an impact against the Saints and kicked just one Goal in the first half,
and the game was virtually over with the visitors heading to the long break with a 45 point lead."
GOALS
St Kilda: Schneider 4, Peake 3, Jones 2, Montagna 2, Armitage, Milne, Siposs, Steven
As Obi-Wan would say..."Ahh, Siposs...(rubbing his beard) now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time"
and...Reports: Brett Peake (St Kilda) for striking Dylan Roberton (Fremantle) in the third quarter
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Yes, far preferable to walking away winded by a loss.Pwoit wrote:Hope we can winned this onerepta wrote:We should have beated WC earlier in the year. If it wasnt for the umpires we would have.

Re: Our Last Win Across the Nullabor?
The Freo match is a must win for our confidence going forward. If we cannot win that, our confidence will bottom out. If we win, we stand a chance against tough opposition.
Unfortunately, our kicking efficiency into the forward 50 and our goal kicking, is again going to let us down.

Re: Our Last Win Across the Nullabor?
It's about time that we spent less time and precious energy in contemplation of the length of the flight, the time that's elapsed since our last win in Perth, and all the other matters out of our control, and instead adopted the attitude of going over to Subiaco to add a wee bit more misery to our former senior coach, by getting the WIN!
