Suns to physically target Saints best player
Sorry if this is already discussed here, but found it bit strange to declare well in advance the motive...
Lets find out after the game who targets who

I've got family on the gold coast and have been to about 10 suns home games since they started .
Not once have i seen them play tough hard footy .
There a good side that like bruise free footy.
We'll have to play well to beat them but if they want to go the niggle i say bring it on!

Re: Suns to physically target Saints best player
Years ago I got the chance to ask Steven Baker a question. It went like this.....Bakes, we know you hit them all hard, but is there anyone that you like to belt just a little bit more than normal? His reply was , yep , Gary Ablett Jnr, guy is a poonce, and the other players that were there including Lenny Hayes all agreed.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Re: Suns to physically target Saints best player
gee I hope Jack gets looked after like sloan did when we targeted him.
All this, "we are coming after you" crap is getting ridiculous. Perhaps Watts should have been stretching and not instagramming. Who had the last laugh Watts.
Oh well whatever

Why not. His dad is worse than a poonce but he was still a good footballer.Joffa Burns wrote:299 AFL games 388 goalshappy feet wrote:Years ago I got the chance to ask Steven Baker a question. Yep. Wish the poonce had of played at our club - maybe instead of Bakes. We would have seen our team win at least 2 flags in the last 15 years.Joffa Burns wrote:299 AFL games 388 goalshappy feet wrote:Years ago I got the chance to ask Steven Baker a question. Re: Suns to physically target Saints best player
I already mentioned this 3 days ago.
But...they'll go Stuv or maybe Seb.
If one of our guys goes to help Stuv break the tag,
that's one less player in the middle and
will help GAJ run free

I think Jack Billings will be the one targeted. Without his contribution we lose to both Carlton and North Melbourne.

I envisage the punishment dished out to our players by the suns being
tantamount to a severe flogging with ostrich plumes

Re: Suns to physically target Saints best player
Watch them be able to do anything to our players, but if anyone steps within the 'Protected Zone' for GAJ we will be pinged.

Re: Suns to physically target Saints best player
Yep, the AFL will AGAIN instruct the umpires to let the suns do as they please to the saints players but cheat against St Kilda and give GAJ a free ride.

Not saying that the Umpires will be instructed - it just seems that GAJ gets an armchair rideJoffa Burns wrote:Yep, the AFL will AGAIN instruct the umpires to let the suns do as they please to the saints players but cheat against St Kilda and give GAJ a free ride.
And St Kilda hardly ever gets any blocking frees paid their way.

I think he knew he wont be playing hence just spiced it up, as I mentioned before it was bit bizarre to come out in public and say what he said
